Hate of black girls is so commonplace that John Legend was invited to be interviewed about the hate and abuse of black girls in spite of his spouses history of doing just that. It’s so normalized that someone thought “you know what? Lets have this guy who’s nonblack wife holds a venomous contempt for little black girls success. Who sexualized,dehumanized and humiliated a small black girl for being proud of herself, and like Kelly,has not faced any repercussions ”
People may over look this shit,but I dont. Any man that can lay down with a nonblack woman who’s automatic reaction to a black baby girl at an awards ceremony is abject hatred ,disgust and to diminish her accomplishments,needs to keep his damn mouth shut.
The ONLY reason he and his wife arent (publicly) working with Kelly is because it’s the wave not to. That’s it. They’re “right side of history ” opportunists.

speaking of military i had a couple come up to my job to buy tickets to the gallery and we were all sold out and the guy says “I’m military! don’t you think there’s anything you can do?” and his wife continues, “Yes! he’s active military!” and it took Everything In My Body to not burst out laughing as I repeated that we were sold out
